Contact and Fees

2016 12 Ave N.W., Calgary. I am at HakomiOT -at- or (403) 903-7946.

I typically respond within 24 hrs on business days. Please note that, due to the part time nature of my hours, I am not able to offer supportive or crisis contact in between sessions. The Distress Centre Phone number may be reached at: (403)266-HELP.  Please discuss any concerns you may have about this in person.

My fees are $140/session  by cash or E-transfer. I will provide you with a receipt for your payment.

Receipts may be submitted to a private insurance or benefits bank (depending on the specific terms of the policy); sessions are not necessarily covered and are not covered by Alberta Health Care.

If you wish my services to be more accessible to people like yourself in future, feel free to  email CAOT (Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists)

Hot Days

Ice is Nice.

This is the time for intense creativity. We are perhaps still wanting to stay in [covid], and yet it is too hot to stay in [weather]. It is too hot to go out [weather, fires]. The government is unsure if we are to be out or in [covid]. The economists think we should be out [$]. Docs and nurses want us to stay in [covid]. Some have to work [$]. Some can’t [$]. Some think we should travel [$], some think we should not [fires, gas, $].

It’s hard to know.

So whatever your leanings, grab some ice, a thermos, ice tea. Go sit in the shade – in the moments or hours that you can – with a good poem, podcast, book, whatever. These are the days. It can be OK.
